I Love Dresses!
As October is Fair Trade Month, I’ve brought you a round up of Fair Trade fashion. Specifically, five dresses that would be a great addition to any wardrobe. Why dresses? Mostly because I wear dresses almost every day and I think that they’re incredibly versatile. I’ll warn you, there is a lot of navy blue. Ok, they’re mostly navy blue.
Can we just take a second first though and wonder where September went? It must officially be autumn now as I’ve become a cliche and had my first pumpkin spiced latte of the season. I didn’t Instagram it though, so I must get a reprieve for that.
Needlecord Tunic Dress from Nomads Clothing

How gorgeous is this?! It’s on my Christmas list that’s for sure. I feel like it would go with everything; long sleeved tops, shirts, leggings…. Needlecord feels like an autumnal kind of fabric to me too.
Dhaka Dress from Here Today Here Tomorrow

I’ve only recently discovered Here Today Here Tomorrow but they have some absolutely beautiful pieces. It’s on the higher side of pricing, but anything from their website would be an investment and last for years to come.
Calla Shirt Dress from People Tree

People Tree are, of course, pioneers in the field of Fair Trade fashion so no list would be complete without mentioning them. This shirt dress is the ultimate in versatility, you could wear it for any occasion and with so many other things.
Dark Navy Split Dress from Know The Origin

I have this dress and wrote about it here. It’s comfortable and it pretty much goes with everything, what more can you ask for?
Denim Sleeveless Dress from Bibico

Such a simple and classic design, it would be a real workhorse in my wardrobe. These kind of dresses are my favourite and the kind of thing I wear a lot. Let’s take a moment to appreciate that it has pockets too; dresses with pockets rock. If plain denim isn’t your thing, it’s also available in a beautiful botanical print.
