Victoria Maus is a UK-based ethical blog writing about sustainable sewing, ethical fashion and eco-friendly living


Back in 2012, when my eldest daughter was a year old, I taught myself to sew. I wanted to make beautiful things for her (and subsequently her sister), in the same way that my Grandma made beautiful things for me. Since then my skills and confidence have grown and I’m about to start sewing my own wedding dress!


Like many sewing bloggers, I wanted a place to document all of the things I make, but Thimble End is about more than sewing. I’m also passionate about sustainable, ethical choices that benefit both people and the environment and so my blog is the place I bring all of that together.
