Hi, I’m Toria. I’m an ethical blogger interested in sustainable sewing, ethical fashion, veganism and family life. I’m also slightly plant-obsessed and can often be found wearing handmade dresses with pockets, or something mustard-coloured.

Sewing My Wedding Dress: The Bodice

Back in 2012, when my eldest daughter was a year old, I taught myself to sew. I wanted to make beautiful things for her (and subsequently her sister), in the same way that my Grandma made beautiful things for me. Since then my skills and confidence have grown and in 2019 I sewed my own wedding dress!

I started to blog about sewing so that I could share all of the things I made, but then I also wanted to write about my passion for living an ethical and sustainable lifestyle, whilst raising a family. The blog that was Thimble End then morphed into The Marvellous Mrs Maus and here we are!
